Smith & Nephew Allevyn™ Plus Adhesive Hydrocellular Dressing has a unique, trilaminate structure made of a wound contact layer, a soft and highly absorbent, central, hydrocellular layer and an outer film layer, which is both bacteriaproof and waterproof. This dressing employs all the benefits of moist wound healing without breakdown of the dressing caused by contact with exudate, which has traditionally made caring for these wounds difficult.
